Giving Tuesday: A Tale of Two Holidays

One of our favorite holiday traditions is reading The Polar Express and 'Twas the Night Before Christmas to our kids in the days leading up to Christmas, as suspense builds for the magic to come. In those sweet moments, we all believe that anything—even a sleigh taking flight with eight tiny reindeer—is possible. 

But memory-making moments like these just aren’t possible for far too many families, who are especially stretched for resources this time of year. And the lack of access to literacy, year round, keeps kids from reaching their potential.

That’s why we’re partnered with Books for Kids, and to celebrate Giving Tuesday. We are donating a percentage of our total online sales starting from Black Friday through today (!!) to help put more books in more tiny hands.

Thanks to you, we’ve already raised enough to bring literacy programming to 28 children for one year. Because every child deserves the possibility that opens up in the pages of a cherished book.
