Two Tops, for All Temps
Since we waited so patiently to get back on our regularly-scheduled release schedule, today’s drop is a Dudley double-take—the release of the Orchard St Boatneck and Perryridge Pullover. Here’s why we think they’re destined for front-of-closet status.
The Orchard St Boatneck
The silhouette: We wanted to create a warmer-weather answer to our everyday Dudley turtlenecks. The Orchard St has the recognizable neckline of our flagship styles, with a pared back feel that’s just right for the moment.
The details: This neckline is wider than our Cobble Hill and Park Slope, and can be worn up or folded down to feel more like a classic boatneck. The 3/4 sleeves with folded detail and our embroidered pineapple on front add to the crisply finished feel of the piece.
Styling notes: Wear with your favorite short, maxi skirt or a high-waisted pant (tucked or untucked) now, then top with a blazer or cardi once fall is in the air.
The Perryridge Pullover
The silhouette: This piece is the ultimate in versatility that every woman should have in her closet. We predict it will become a core classic in our collection! It combines a touch of nostalgia in the neckline with thoroughly modern tailoring.
The details: We gave the classic v-neck a feminine spin by layering the neckline. The drop shoulder keeps it from feeling too precious or prep-forward, for more styling possibilities, tucked in or out.
Styling notes: We love that this piece has both the look of a going-out piece and the comfy-factor of a favorite sweatshirt. The v-neck instantly feels dressed-up worn over shoulders to dinner for an extra layer—without the weight of a sweater.
